Job summary

Winston Taylor, based in the United States, seeks a Data Governance Product Manager to own the structure, integrity, and lifecycle of the firm’s taxonomy and data products. You will partner with administration and practice areas to enforce consistent data definitions and governance controls across systems.

You will translate business and legal requirements into governed data structures, align with enterprise information architecture, and drive SDLC and Agile delivery to meet firm-wide needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years product management and business analysis in professional services environment; law firm experience preferred.
• 6+ years stakeholder engagement and management.
• Must live within commutable distance to a local office and come into the office 3-4 days per week.
• Ability to translate business and legal requirements into actionable user stories and requirements.
• Technical fluency across software development to partner with engineering teams and evaluate feasibility.
• Deep understanding of software and application architecture for roadmap planning.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and sprint ceremonies.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to align executives, stakeholders, and development teams around a shared product vision.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into governed data solutions aligned with governance principles and SDLC/Agile practices.
• Own product roadmap and backlog alignment with enterprise information strategy and architecture standards.
• Serve as governance liaison between business stakeholders, legal teams, and technical partners.
• Drive governance standards and data lifecycle management across data domains.
• Ensure compliant and scalable solution delivery with auditability and governance controls.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with developers, architects, and vendors.
• Maintain process discipline and operational consistency across the product lifecycle.
• Document governance decisions and system designs for transparency and auditability.
