Job summary

VLink, Inc. is seeking a data governance professional to help maintain and enhance our data governance, privacy, and third party management processes within the Chief Data Office.

The role bridges governance, legal/compliance, and technology to optimize third party data transfers and regulatory adherence. You will contribute to the ongoing data inventory, retention policies, and contractual protection requirements while ensuring clear communication of privacy concepts to stakeholders across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Law, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in data governance, data privacy, compliance, or related data management roles.
• Strong understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and data classifications like CPNI/SPI.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to review documents and contracts for impact on third party data transfers.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain privacy/governance concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and adoption of data governance related to third parties.
• Enhance third party data inventory system and processes.
• Support certification processes for new third party transfers.
• Facilitate enterprise data governance, data inventory, data protection, and records management programs in line with regulations.
• Support privacy compliance activities related to third party data sharing, vendor risk, data retention and disposal schedules.
