Job summary

National Veterinary Associates is seeking a Data Stewardship & Governance Lead to serve as the operational backbone of our enterprise data governance program. You will own the data catalog and data definitions in Purview, work with data stewards and owners, and drive consistency in how data is defined, managed, and used across our multi-site organization.

Reporting to the Director, Data Governance, you will coordinate the Data Governance Committee, monitor changes, promote data governance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data governance or data management within a complex enterprise.
• Hands-on with Purview or similar catalog (Collibra/Alation).
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain enterprise data catalog and data definitions in Purview.
• Coordinate Data Governance Committee meetings and action items.
• Monitor changes to definitions, standards, and policies across departments.
• Champion data governance practices and ensure compliance.
• Develop governance training materials and reference docs.
• Partner with Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, and IT to configure Purview.
