Job summary

Insight Global partners with a student transportation client to fill a Data Governance Lead role. You will own the enterprise data governance program, including data quality, stewardship and MDM, and define the single source of truth for core domains.

Qualifications

• 8+ years data management experience with governance leadership.
• Proven improvements in data quality and MDM outcomes.
• Ability to modernize inherited processes, tooling, and operating models.
• Hands-on experience with profiling, quality rules, and root-cause remediation.
• Federated governance with defined domain ownership and steward network.
• MDM: single source of truth for core domains, matching, survivorship, and golden records.
• Experience with data catalog, glossary, and lineage tooling (Atlan, Purview, or similar).
• Strong SQL and cloud data governance in Snowflake, Postgres, dbt, and BI tooling.
• Experience implementing an MDM platform and data contracts/product ownership.
• Background in data observability/testing tools and data privacy familiarity.
• Experience using AI to accelerate glossary curation and rule development.
• CDMP/DAMA-DMBOK or change-management experience a plus.
