You will lead data governance initiatives, define schemas and tagging, and collaborate with stakeholders across teams to implement enterprise data flow solutions.

The role emphasizes partnering with customers, applying AI tools to schemas, and growing skills in cross-domain technologies for cyber missions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience working on contracts for the federal government.
• Experience with data flow, Apache NiFi, or mission systems.
• Experience defining and applying data tagging and handling requirements.
• Experience analyzing and defining data schemas and data processing requirements.
• Experience developing capability level and functional requirements, mission scenarios, use cases, or business processes for automation.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts, such as data provenance, classification, sizing, retention, data sharing, and marking.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT Engineering field and 15+ years of experience with systems engineering, or 20+ years of experience with systems engineering in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization efforts for the enterprise data flow team and mission data governance.
• Specify data handling and usage requirements for new data flows; define and harden data schemas.
• Define processes, business rules, and functional requirements for mission systems that support data governance.
• Coordinate with data flow service providers and stakeholders across roles to implement data flows for cyber missions.
