Job summary

Arkhya Tech Inc. is seeking a Principal Data Governance leader to own Finance Data Governance from strategy through implementation, driving data lineage and architecture across major platform migrations.

The role requires strong experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake/BigQuery), SOX/compliance, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Finance and Technology.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Governance, Data Strategy, or Data Architecture.
• 2-3 years at Principal/Strategic level.
• Experience building or scaling a Data Governance program.
• Strong experience with data lineage, catalogs, stewardship, ownership, and data quality.
• Experience supporting large legacy-to-cloud / ERP transformations from a governance perspective.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Experience in SOX/ICFR or another controls-sensitive environment.
• Ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with SOX, privacy, security, and other controls.
