Job description

We’re hiring a hands-on Data Governance Lead to build and lead a governance program from the ground up at a mission-driven healthcare organization. This is NOT a management role, but one with high strategic visibility and impact.

If you’ve developed and executed a data governance framework in a small/mid-sized healthcare setting—not just participated in one—this role is for you.

Highlights:

1. 100% remote
2. Salary: $140K–$160K + 5% bonus
3. Drive governance for a new data exchange platform (built in collaboration with PWC)
4. Help lead readiness for SOC 2 certification
5. Work across data science, analytics, compliance, and research teams

Ideal Background:

1. Experience in medical claims data (oral health a plus!)
2. Medicaid/Medicare familiarity
3. Hands-on with HIPAA, PHI, PII standards
4. Cloud data tools like Databricks & Snowflake
5. Worked alongside Data Scientists/Analysts
6. Bonus if you’ve worked with surveys, EHRs, or in healthcare research
