Job summary

Honeywell IT Leadership seeks an IT Director - Data Governance to steer enterprise-wide master data governance, data quality initiatives, and MDG projects across ERP and systems of record. You will partner with data stewards, owners, and engineers to deliver robust MDG solutions and drive data-driven transformation.

You will report to the Senior Director of IT - Data Analytics and Data Management, working from the Atlanta, GA location.

Qualifications

Experience with Master and Reference Data in SAP with MDG deployment in S/4.
Deep understanding of data governance frameworks and data lifecycle management.
Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and data replication techniques.
Experience connecting MDG platforms with ERP, CRM, and cloud data warehouses.
Ability to identify data migration bottlenecks, security compliance issues, and system downtime risks.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Data Governance strategies aligning with business transformation objectives and operational efficiency.
Define roadmap for master data governance at source in ERP, and measure adoption of data quality metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives to drive data governance capabilities.
Establish cadence to track metrics and ensure compliance with data standards and policies.
Oversee MDG design, deployment, and alignment with SAP/S4 enterprise architecture and business goals.
Lead integration with downstream and upstream systems and manage vendor relationships.
