Job summary

Chase is seeking an Associate Data Owner to support end-to-end data enablement, publishing, and governance for a product in US Wealth Management. You will work with a VP Data Owner to ensure data is trusted, well-governed, and fit for analytics and delivery.

You will help define product data definitions, metadata, classifications, and quality, enabling discoverability and purpose. This role emphasizes cross-functional coordination and data risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years in data delivery, analytics enablement, or governance.
• SQL to analyze data and validate quality.

Responsibilities

• Support the product's data agenda across creation, ingestion, publishing, and consumption.
• Assist in establishing data quality requirements and monitoring for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and lineage.
• Support delivery of data pipelines and products by tracking dependencies and coordinating handoffs.
• Document business definitions, metadata, and classifications so critical data is discoverable and consistently understood.
• Maintain data governance artifacts such as inventories, controls evidence, and procedures for audit readiness.
• Perform data profiling and validation to identify anomalies, gaps, and trends impacting downstream use.
• Partner with technology and data delivery teams for root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Communicate updates, risks, and decisions through well-structured documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and proposing fixes.
