Job summary

KBR is seeking a mid-level Data Governance Specialist to join our team in Dayton, OH or remotely. The role focuses on establishing a comprehensive Data Governance framework and managing data assets to support Air Force programs while ensuring privacy, security, and compliance.

US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance are required. The candidate will collaborate across EA, IT and Data Architects to drive governance maturity, develop charters, and support AI/ML and Digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 8+ years of experience in the data industry.
• 4+ years within a formal Data Governance program.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data catalog platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop & implement Data Governance framework & methodologies.
• Assess data fidelity, security, privacy, and retention; contribute to strategic roadmap.
• Lead data stewardship workgroups and governance councils.
