Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support data deletion initiatives and governance programs. The role can be performed on a full remote or hybrid basis, with Vienna, VA as a potential hybrid location and the option for remote work across the U.S.

The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to implement data deletion controls, develop test plans, and maintain metadata across Data Lake zones, leveraging Databricks, ADLS, Delta Lake, ADF, SQL, Python, and PySpark.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in Databricks, ADLS, Delta Lake, ADF, SQL and Python/PySpark.
• Experience with data governance, data deletion controls, and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of plans for secure and permanent data deletion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and align data deletion controls with frameworks.
• Develop and execute test plans to verify controls and reduce risk.
• Conduct dataset discovery and inventory across Data Lake zones and maintain metadata.
