The role emphasizes data accuracy, security, and responsible use across departments. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience with FERPA/regulatory reporting, and proficiency in tools like Informer, Tableau, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer/data science or related IT field; 4 years’ experience.
• Or an associate degree with 6 years’ experience; or 8 years’ experience.
• Experience with data governance, warehousing, or metadata.
• Experience with FERPA and regulatory reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain institutional data governance frameworks.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, and metadata.
• Document data definitions, ownership, usage rules, and retention.
• Monitor data quality across enterprise systems.
• Provide training on data standards and best practices.
• Support the College’s reporting environment (Entrinsik Informer).
