Job summary

Empower is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to strengthen our enterprise data governance program. You will work with metadata, lineage, data quality, and data ownership to improve the reliability of reporting and decision making.

In this role you will collaborate with data owners and business stakeholders, participate in governance meetings, and help mature governance practices across the organization. This position offers a hybrid work model within the United States.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related work.
• SQL knowledge and the ability to work with data.
• Experience with metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and explain the meaning and importance of governed data.

The Data Governance Analyst supports enterprise data governance through hands‑on work involving metadata, lineage, data quality, data ownership, and stewardship. The role works with both data and business stakeholders to help improve the reliability and consistency of governed data and reporting, with additional ramp‑up and guidance expected compared with the Senior and Lead levels.

Base Salary Range

$79,400.00 - $112,175.00
