Qualifications

• Strong core business analysis experience with requirements gathering, workshops, and stakeholder management.
• Experience on data-focused projects or programmes.
• Understanding of data lakes, data schemas and data structures.
• Experience mapping data flows across systems.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and master data flows.
• Experience gathering and defining reporting requirements.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data and development terms.
• Experience working with Data Engineering/Development teams.
• Experience supporting defect triage and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business users to understand their data, reporting and information requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering through workshops, stakeholder engagement and analysis.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for data products and technical delivery teams.
• Understand and document data flows, data schemas and data structures.
• Analyse how data moves through different systems, including Master Data Management (MDM) flows.
• Work closely with the Head of Data and data build teams throughout delivery.
• Define and document reporting requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
• Act as the bridge between business and technical stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into a clear business language.
• Support defect triage, working with business and technical teams to understand, prioritise and resolve issues.
