Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a data-lead to guide a 6–8 person team focused on website data extraction. You will configure crawlers, validate data quality, and hand off to the data platform via Python scripts for analytics and reporting.

In this Work Anywhere role, you’ll balance hands-on crawler development with people leadership, aligning with product managers to ensure timely, accurate data delivery and insightful dashboards for customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading a technical analytics or data team.
• Hands on experience building robust and scalable crawlers.
• Solid understanding of data structures and data models.
• Project management and task prioritization skills.
• Basic understanding of Python and data tooling.
• Experience with crawling tools like Mozenda or Zyte and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6–8 data analysts, including hiring and performance management.
• Coordinate workload with product managers and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure the quality and freshness of extracted data.
• Select and standardize tools for data extraction and crawling.
• Support ad‑hoc reporting and data-driven insights for customers.
