Job summary

Revelation Pharma is seeking a Data Entry Technician to ensure accurate patient information and timely billing for compounded prescriptions based on patient-specific orders.

Under pharmacist supervision, the role involves verifying prescriptions, handling labels and invoices, and communicating with prescribers for refills while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. Training for large accounts is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician to perform fulfillment or compounding activities.
• Excellent work ethic, including a personal drive to excel independently.
• Solid PC skills including Microsoft software.
• Certified Technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry Technician shall ensure accuracy of patient information and receive patient payment.
• Checking prescriptions for completeness and entering necessary information into the computer to generate a prescription label and invoices (if necessary).
• Communicating with prescribers to receive refill authorization and receiving patient refills by telephone, directing calls or taking and relaying messages.
• Technician shall work under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
• Investigating an incidence and/or variance as needed, documenting variances and resolutions.
• Technician will be cross trained to help with large account orders.
• Other duties, responsibilities and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.

Role Summary

The Data Entry Technician is responsible for providing excellent customer service and for the accurate and timely billing of compounded preparations based off patient specific prescriptions.

Job Activities and Responsibilities

The responsibilities listed below are subject to change.

• Data Entry Technician shall ensure accuracy of patient information and receive patient payment
• Checking prescriptions for completeness and entering necessary information into the computer to generate a prescription label and invoices (if necessary)
• Communicating with prescribers to receive refill authorization receiving patient refills by telephone, directing calls or taking and relaying messages
• Technician shall work under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Employee's departmental manager has the latitude to direct work in any department that hinges on company needs.
• Maintaining an organized and efficient workspace
• Investigating an incidence and/or variance as needed, documenting variances as needed including the resolution
• Technician will be cross trained to help with large account orders
• Other duties, responsibilities and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
