About the Role:

The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy operations by meticulously entering and managing prescription and patient data. This position supports pharmacists and healthcare professionals by maintaining up-to-date records, verifying information, and facilitating smooth workflow within the pharmacy setting. The technician will handle sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality and comply with all regulatory standards. By accurately inputting data, the role helps prevent medication errors and enhances patient safety. Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a Stated Licensed Pharmacy Technician to perform fulfilment or compounding activities
• Previous experience in data entry or pharmacy technician role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy terminology and prescription processing.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from an accredited program.
• Experience working in a retail or hospital pharmacy environment.
• Knowledge of insurance billing procedures and pharmacy benefit management.

Responsibilities:
