Overview:
Responsible for high-speed manual data entry, verification, and quality control of hardcopy and digital documents. Duties include document classification validation, data and redaction validation, metadata indexing, and check processing. Position requires training on 1st shift before moving to 3rd shift.
Responsibilities:
Enter hardcopy document data at 15,000 keystrokes per hour into Unbiased Data Entry Software
Validate automatically classified digital documents and correct exceptions
Verify and correct low-confidence extracted and redacted digital data
Manually enter metadata index information from digital documents
Review digital checks and related documents to ensure proper payee, valid date, and signature
Generate Check Return Letters if needed per policy
Validate CAR/LAR check data and ensure batch fiscal control
Reconcile check batch totals and distribute check amounts per customer instructions
Compare hardcopy to digital files for quality control
Meet deadlines with consistent speed and accuracy
Maintain productivity and quality standards set by BSS BPO manager
Complete all required documentation legibly and on time
Adapt to changing situations and perform repetitive tasks per procedure
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of related work experience
Strong typing and 10-key data entry skills (test required)
Familiarity with personal computers
Excellent written and verbal communication
Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment with strong customer service focus
Must be flexible to train on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM for one week) before moving to 3rd shift
