Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician for data entry and customer support tasks. You will handle phone inquiries, process orders, and maintain accurate patient and order information in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Daily activities include entering new orders for pharmacist review, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues with care and attention to detail. A valid pharmacy license and experience in pharmacy are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in pharmacy
• LTC pharmacy experience preferred
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Moderate to advanced computer skills required
• Frameworks / ECM knowledge a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager
• Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders and general customer inquiries
• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries
• Clarify orders as needed
• Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner
• Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
