Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, order processing, and responsive customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have pharmacy experience, knowledge of brand-name and generic medications, and solid computer skills. LTC experience is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with pharmacy experience.
• LTC pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of brand-name and generic medications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills required.
• Frameworks / ECM knowledge a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager
• Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders and general customer inquiries
• Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner
• Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries
• Clarify orders as needed
