Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking Data Entry Clerks for a manufacturing facility in Swartz Creek and Burton, Michigan. Flexible shifts are available (2nd and 3rd, with some 1st) and overtime is common. The role involves recording shipping and receiving data and doing hands-on inventory tasks at a desk most of the time.

Candidates should have accurate data entry skills and experience with MS Excel. Training is provided; testing in data entry and Excel is required to be considered.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
• Clerical or data entry experience

Responsibilities

• Enter customer part numbers, supplier information, and other data into the customer inventory management system with 100% accuracy
• Perform data entry administrative functions in established computer programs
• Process shipping and receiving documents and input information from the bill of lading
• Dispatch orders and provide tags for customer part selection
• Process claims for misdirected parts and update claim information in the customer system
• Conduct quality control checks for supplier compliance
