Job summary

Spee-Dee Delivery Service, headquartered in St. Cloud, MN, is hiring for a Data Entry role in its billing system and customer walk-in counter. You will input data accurately for accounts receivable and assist customers at the counter during a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM shift.

The position requires basic computer skills, good communication, and attention to detail. Clerical experience and a high school diploma are preferred, with the opportunity for growth in a family‑owned, Midwest logistics

The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years have expanded throughout the Midwest.

Job Summary

The Data Entry department will accurately input data into a billing system for accounts receivable purposes and assist customers in our walk-in counter.

Hours and Wages

• Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM
• $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and open walk-in counter daily
• Greet and assist customers with parcels for shipment
• Utilize hand-held pad to enter packages for pick up or inbound scans
• Accurately enter package information into billing system using the 10-key portion of a keyboard as well as a desk top scanner
• Interact with customers via telephone and email regarding questions concerning their daily shipping paperwork
• Balance and count cash drawer daily
• Sort billing sheets into numerical order
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Clerical or administrative experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
