Applied Systems is seeking a Sr Technical Consultant to lead architecture, integration, and cloud delivery standards across the CX Solution Services team, advising client CIOs and CTOs on their most complex digital transformations.

You will define standards, serve as the executive technical authority on enterprise implementations, and mentor senior consultants while partnering with Sales on multi-million-dollar deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 8+ years work experience or 6+ with Associate degree.
• 5+ years of business/technical solutions implementation including cloud architecture design and evaluation.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
• 2+ years of hands-on application architecture with clients, developers, and testers; 3+ years of project management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), REST/SOAP APIs, containers, SQL, Java or JavaScript.

• Resolve complex, multi-system integration and architectural escalations, and mentor senior consultants and architects

We’re looking for a Sr Technical Consultant to join our CX Solution Services team and lead the architecture, integration, and cloud delivery standards across our consulting practice, advising client CIOs and CTOs on their most complex digital transformations.

What You’ll Do

• Define and govern architecture, integration, and cloud delivery standards across Applied’s software ecosystem, including technical strategy with partners such as Google Cloud Platform
• Act as the executive technical authority on our largest, highest-stakes enterprise implementations, operating with full autonomy
• Advise client CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders on aligning Applied’s technology with their digital transformations
• Partner with Sales leadership on pursuit strategy, scoping frameworks, and value-engineering for multi-million-dollar and first-of-their-kind deals
• Lead cross-functional programs across Professional Services, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, turning field lessons into repeatable blueprints and product enhancements
• Resolve complex, multi-system integration and architectural escalations, and mentor senior consultants and architects

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience (8 years of work experience, or 6 years with an Associate degree)
• 5+ years of business/technical solutions implementation, including cloud architecture design and evaluation and custom solutions development
• Proven cross-functional leadership, defining technical standards, and facilitating executive workshops, with clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences
• 2+ years of hands-on application architecture with clients, developers, and testers, plus 3+ years of client or project management
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), REST/SOAP APIs, containers, and SQL, Java, or JavaScript, with deep database and environment architecture expertise

Bonus points if you also have:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Professional Cloud Architect certification
• Salesforce admin or technical experience (APEX a plus)
• 1+ year of experience in the insurance industry

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position considers a variety of factors, including depth and breadth of experience, skills and role scope. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible for additional compensation plans (bonus and commission).
