Job summary

ClearCaptions is seeking a Data Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of data engineers, shape platform standards, and deliver enterprise-scale data solutions on Microsoft Fabric. The role combines people leadership with hands-on technical ownership across ingestion, modeling, and analytics workloads.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to align platform strategy with business goals, drive performance, and ensure data quality and security across reporting and ML initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data or software engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong data engineering and platform development background.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric and related data technologies.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and governance.
• Proven ability to design scalable data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a Data Engineering team with 1:1s and performance feedback.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards and governance across the data platform.
• Own capacity planning, priorities, and delivery across initiatives.
• Collaborate with analytics, architecture, and business stakeholders on Fabric solutions.
• Serve as escalation point for complex engineering challenges and incidents.
• Develop end-to-end data ingestion and transformation using Fabric tools.
