ClearCaptions, LLC is seeking a Data Engineering Supervisor to lead a team responsible for enterprise-scale data solutions on Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouses, and Pipelines. The role blends hands-on engineering with people leadership to deliver secure, scalable data platforms for reporting and analytics.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data/software engineering, 3+ years of leadership, and strong experience with Fabric, Delta Lake, and Power BI integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• At least 10 years in data/software engineering.
• At least 3 years leading a team of engineers.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric including OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Pipelines, Gen2, Notebooks.
• Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture and Delta Lake concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, source control, and release management.
• Data governance, data quality, and security frameworks.
• Experience integrating Fabric with Power BI and Azure.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, planning, and budgeting skills.
• Self-starter, organized, able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a Data Engineering team through regular coaching and reviews.
• Set and enforce data engineering standards and reusable patterns.
• Own capacity planning, prioritization, and delivery across initiatives.
• Collaborate with analytics, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into Fabric-based solutions.
• Serve as escalation point for complex engineering challenges and incidents.
• Lead root-cause analysis for critical production issues affecting pipelines and analytics.
• Review designs and implement aligned with enterprise standards.
• Design and maintain end-to-end data ingestion and transformations using Fabric tools.
• Ensure data quality and modeling for reporting workloads (Power BI).
• Contribute to data governance, security, and platform architecture.
