Job summary

Walt is seeking a senior Data Engineering leader to build and scale the data platform across DWH, ingestion, streaming, and serving layers. You will apply AI/LLMs to automate pipeline development and improve data quality and schema management.

In this role you will own the pipelines powering attribution, segmentation, and campaign optimization while ensuring reliability, governance, and cross-functional partnership across Analytics, ML, Product, Finance, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams (engineers + analysts).
• Deep data management and robust DWH architectures.
• Strong understanding of marketing technology and analytics automation.
• Interest in applying AI/LLMs to analytical/operational workflows.
• Experience in Crypto/FinTech domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale the Data Engineering team including hiring and performance.
• Define and execute the long-term data platform strategy across DWH, ingestion, streaming, and serving.
• Apply AI/LLMs to automate pipeline development and schema management.
• Own pipelines powering attribution, segmentation, and campaign optimization.
• Develop real-time, low-latency infrastructure for trading, payments, and risk workloads.
• Set data quality, lineage, observability, SLAs, and governance standards.
• Partner with Analytics, ML, Product, Finance, and Marketing as trusted stakeholder.

• Team Leadership: Build, lead, and scale the Data Engineering team - own hiring, performance, and technical growth.
• Data Platform Strategy & Architecture: Define and execute the long-term vision for our data platform across DWH, ingestion, transformation, streaming, and serving layers.
• AI Transformation: Apply AI/LLMs to automate pipeline development, data quality, and schema management.
• Marketing Data Infrastructure: Own the pipelines powering attribution, segmentation, and campaign optimization.
• Real-Time & Streaming Data: Build and scale low-latency infrastructure for trading, payments, and risk-critical workloads.
• Reliability & Governance: Set the bar for data quality, lineage, observability, SLAs, and governance.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Be a trusted partner to Analytics, ML, Product, Finance, and Marketing.

Requirements

• Data Management Excellence: Proven track record of building and managing robust DWH architectures.
• Leadership Experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams (engineers + analysts).
• Technical Depth: Deep understanding of ClickHouse, dbt, and modern data engineering practices.
• MarTech Proficiency: Understanding of marketing technology and experience in automating analytics to drive growth.
• AI Vision: A forward-thinking mindset with a practical interest in applying AI/LLMs to analytical and operational workflows.
• Industry Context: Experience in or a strong passion for the Crypto/FinTech industry.
