Job summary

HirexHire is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to join the client’s Denver team in a hybrid role. You will lead the architecture and build of an analytics data platform, constructing high-quality data pipelines, a Snowflake data warehouse, and well-modeled datasets to drive performance and decision-making across a global SaaS environment.

The role emphasizes ownership of data pipelines, scaling, governance, and API integrations to expose data for downstream analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years building and operating production-grade data platforms.
• 3+ years using dbt to build data warehouse solutions.
• Strong knowledge and experience in SQL, Python, and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and tools like Databricks, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Snowflake, Rivery, dbt preferred
• Understanding of Gen AI concepts including LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and vector databases.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are searching for a new role - a Data Engineering Lead - to join our client's team in the company's downtown Denver office. In this newly created position, you will join a small, growing team to lead the architecture, build, and future iterations and improvements on an internal analytics data platform that supports key functional areas and business partners in a private-equity backed, global SaaS environment. This role will work deeply on constructing high‑qualitydata pipelines, a trusted Snowflake data warehouse, andwell‑modeleddatasets to drive performance and decision-making throughout the organization.
