STV, Inc. invites a Data Engineering Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience designing and maintaining data pipelines for data-driven initiatives. You will learn from experienced engineers while contributing to real-world projects and developing practical data engineering skills.

The role emphasizes ETL/ELT concepts, Python data libraries, and SQL data querying, with exposure to Azure Data Factory and PySpark. Applicants pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree are welcome.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Familiarity with SQL and querying databases for data extraction.

Responsibilities

• Work with the data engineering team to build data transformation pipelines from diverse sources.
• Collaborate to advance the use of data in the industry and develop applications to visualize AEC data.
• Create data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and PySpark.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and insights.
• Document methodologies and coding for knowledge transfer and reproducibility.
