Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company invites applications for the Engineering Development Program (EDP) in Hartford, CT. You will collaborate with the business to refine features, write stories, and develop data-driven capabilities while embracing Travelers' agile practices.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data fundamentals.
• Exposure to object‑oriented programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with data pipelines & ETL.
• Knowledge of data visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Travelers' Data Engineering team designs, builds, and tests data assets and applications that support analytic communities.
• EDP participants partner with the business to refine features, plan user stories, and deliver capabilities.
• Additional program components include mentoring, networking, and career guidance.
• Occasional travel for business meetings and events is expected for participants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
