Job summary

Deloitte GPS seeks a Consultant, Data Engineering to help design, build, and run data solutions for government clients in the US Delivery Center. You will contribute to data migration, integration, and validation to modernize platforms and scale capabilities.

The role requires Python/R, NLP/LLM experience, and cloud platform expertise. You will collaborate with leadership, manage multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality work within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience programming in Python or R with libraries like Tensorflow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• 3+ years of experience with NLP and LLM, especially GenAI technologies like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.
• 1+ years understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Proven experience with cloud-hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven experience with big data technologies, i.e Angular, React, NodeJS, C#, .Net, Java, Golang, SQL.
• Ability to travel 10% on average.
• Limited Sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data engineering solutions for government clients.
• Leverage NLP/LLM to improve AI-enabled data workflows.
• Collaborate across teams to promote standards and best practices.
• Work with leadership to identify AI opportunities and define strategy.
• Help backlog prioritization for future machine-learning features.
