Job summary

LineVision, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineering Co-op to join our Platform team in Boston.

You will harden our Nexus data platform by strengthening data quality, governance, and reliability, preparing it for on-prem deployments, and supporting cloud-native data engineering in the energy sector. You will work with the Data & Microservices team to implement lineage, validation scripts, and conformance checks, while collaborating across Platform, Quality, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL to validate data and ensure integrity across environments.
• Python skills to debug pipelines, automate validation, and build checks.
• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3) and containerized, Kubernetes-based services.

Responsibilities

• Build data quality monitoring and observability across ingestion and serving pipelines.
• Extend data lineage tracking across pipelines for visibility of data flows and transforms.
• Develop automated conformance checks for provenance, lineage, and audit events.
