Job summary

Corning seeks a Division Data Engineering and Analytics Manager to lead the division’s data engineering foundation, overseeing Databricks, data platforms, and curated data assets for trusted reporting. You will partner with stakeholders to drive analytics readiness and governance.

You will lead and develop a data engineering team, deliver scalable pipelines, and help enable advanced analytics, data science, and AI initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering, data integration, analytics engineering, or similar data platforms.
• 2+ years of leading teams, projects, or delivery in data/analytics.
• Hands-on with modern data platforms and cloud-based data engineering; Databricks or similar.
• Experience designing and building data pipelines, ETL/ELT, curated data models.
• Proficient in SQL and Python/Scala or similar languages.
• Experience with BI/reporting to enable trusted data consumption.
• Strong data governance, quality, and lineage understanding.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the division’s data engineering environment (Databricks & platforms).
• Build and maintain curated, trusted data assets for reporting and dashboards.
• Coach and develop data engineering team members and partners.
• Drive data governance, quality, lineage, and controls across the data lifecycle.
• Enable future analytics, data science, and AI use cases.
