Job summary

Corning is seeking an experienced Division Data Engineering & Analytics Manager to lead data engineering and analytics foundations. You will oversee scalable data pipelines, cloud platforms, and trusted data assets, partnering with business, IT, and analytics teams to ensure data reliability and governance.

The role emphasizes leadership, delivery discipline, and enabling advanced analytics opportunities, reporting to the Senior Manager, Division Data & Analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related data platform roles.
• 2+ years leading teams or delivery efforts in data/analytics.
• Hands-on with modern data platforms and cloud-based data engineering including Databricks.
• Strong SQL and programming experience (Python/Scala).
• Experience with BI, dashboards, or trusted data consumption.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, and metadata/ lineage.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management, support, and enhancement of division data engineering environment (Databricks and data platform).
• Build and maintain curated, trusted data assets for reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics.
• Lead and develop data engineering resources and delivery efforts.
• Drive data governance, quality, lineage, and ownership across data lifecycle.
• Contribute to future analytics, data science, and AI use cases.
