Zaden Technologies is a defense technology company; a data engineer will build a warehouse and cost reporting to show DoD what infrastructure costs and performance look like. Role supports a new Defense Health Agency program, with on-site Chantilly location and potential remote options.

Start aligns with program kickoff. Responsibilities include pipelines, TCO and performance reporting, data quality and lineage, and supporting FinOps/license rationalization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering.
• Strong SQL and Python.
• Experience building/maintaining a data warehouse or reporting pipeline.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DHA background investigation.
• DoD 8140 qualification or ability to earn within six months.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines from infrastructure, ticketing and license sources into a warehouse.
• Build total cost of ownership and performance reporting.
• Maintain data quality checks and lineage documentation.
• Support FinOps and license rationalization work.
