Job summary

ADA is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain large-scale data warehouses and ETL pipelines. You will optimize SQL performance, work with Redshift, and ensure security and reliability across development and production environments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of any ETL tool.
• Performance tuning and query optimization.
• Linux Server and Shell scripting experience.
• AWS and/or Azure experience.
• Experience with CDP is preferred.
• Knowledge of data privacy, security and compliance requirements.
• Retail Marketing domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support large scale data warehouse, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
• Ensure database performance, availability, security, and reliability.
• Work with data warehouse platforms such as Amazon Redshift.
• Analyze and troubleshoot batch failures, database connectivity, access, and performance issues.
• Perform SQL/query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Understand customer technical requirements and contribute to database architecture, security, compliance, engineering, and operations.
• Support database project activities, including database object creation and deployment across development and production environments.
• Identify process improvements and maintain technical documentation.
• Act as SPOC for assigned projects and coordinate with customers and internal support teams from India
