Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional data engineering experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse platforms and dimensional modeling.
• Experience in retail or e-commerce is preferred.

Job Summary: We are representing a company seeking a skilled Data Engineer to help design, build, and support scalable data solutions in a complex enterprise environment. This position plays a key role in enabling trusted data for reporting, advanced analytics, machine learning, and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from internal and external sources.
• Build reusable data products, services, and frameworks that support analytics, reporting, and machine-learning use cases.
• Implement data-quality checks, validation rules, reconciliation processes, monitoring, and production support activities.

Required

• Experience working for a large retail or e-commerce company
• Must be local to Cincinnati, Ohio
• Three or more years of professional experience in data engineering with strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL or ELT pipelines in an enterprise environment, along with relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and/or lakehouse platforms.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data architecture, data-integration patterns, cloud-based data platforms and services
