Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions within a large data warehouse environment. You will collaborate with field teams, define meaningful metrics, and create systems that deliver reliable data at scale.

The role requires 3+ years of data engineering experience, strong data modeling/warehousing and ETL skills, and fluency in SQL with Python. AWS experience is a plus for cloud integrations.

Qualifications

You'll bring industry best practices and standards to solve complex business problems, define meaningful metrics, and create systems that operate reliably at scale.

Responsibilities

• As a Data Engineer you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments.
• You will be developing and supporting the analytic technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data.
• You will be responsible for designing and implementing a platform using in-house reporting tools, modeling metadata, building reports and dashboards in Quick Suite.
• You will work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• 3 + years of Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• 3+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using data modeling experience

Preferred qualifications

• Deep SQL fluency
• Deep Python (or equivalent) fluency for orchestration, data quality automation, and pipeline tooling beyond SQL
• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
• Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
