Join Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team to help clients modernize data platforms, enable innovation, and solve complex mission challenges. As part of our Government & Public Services practice, you will work with teams that design, build, and scale data and artificial intelligence solutions that support critical business and operational outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact work using modern data engineering, systems integration, and GenAI capabilities.

As a Data Management Engineer III on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and deployment of data and AI solutions for mission-focused programs.

Develop data pipelines to ingest and standardize document data using regular expressions, generative artificial intelligence, and structured data models.

Build and maintain integrations between ADVANA KMDS artifacts, Palantir Foundry, and comptroller execution tools using standardized data formats.

Develop natural language processing and generative artificial intelligence capabilities to match J-Book narratives to requirements documents and enable document query functionality for Action Officers.

Design and enhance tools that allow users to validate AI-generated matches, update back-end data, and interact with budget data through dashboards, parameters, and filters.

Support ongoing platform maintenance, issue resolution, data quality remediation, and intake of enhancement requests.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 2+ years of data engineering experience using Databricks and Palantir Foundry
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Arlington, Virginia

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:
  • Experience developing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for structured and unstructured documents
  • Experience using regular expressions for data parsing and standardization
  • Experience building system integrations across enterprise data platforms and tools
  • Experience developing natural language processing or generative artificial intelligence solutions
  • Experience building user-facing tools, dashboards, or data visualizations
  • Experience supporting data quality issue resolution and platform enhancements

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,400.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
