Job summary

CFS BRANDS in Oklahoma City seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and the data warehouse ecosystem. You will work with Snowflake, Matillion, and SQL to enable analytics and BI across the organization.

You will collaborate with IT and stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and scalable solutions, while integrating structured and unstructured data sources and driving data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Data Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years in data engineering, data warehousing, or ELT development.
• Experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
• Experience with Matillion ELT platform.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and complex SQL.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience acquiring data from REST and Graph APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud architecture is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ETL/ELT to Snowflake using Matillion.
• Optimize database performance and data storage efficiency.
• Collaborate with business units to capture data requirements for analytics.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security via governance practices.
• Support data models for BI and reporting.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for reliability.
• Stay current with emerging data tech and propose solutions.
• Support integration of structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop scripts using Python, SQL, and PowerShell.
• Other duties as assigned.
