Job summary

Bold Orange is seeking a Software Engineer, Data in Minnesota to design and optimize data pipelines centered on Snowflake. You will build data models, automate ELT/ETL, and ensure secure, scalable analytics for multiple clients.

Collaboration with devs, PMs, and stakeholders is crucial. You will contribute to back-end services in Python and C#/.NET, maintain CI/CD, and help govern cost and performance across Snowflake, Redshift, and Databricks environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with data engineering focus.
• Strong Snowflake production experience with data models, warehouses, and ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and C# for back-end development and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain data models, warehouses, and ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake.
• Develop and tune complex SQL, stored procedures, and transformations in Snowflake and relational databases.
• Own Snowflake governance, cost, and security configurations (RBAC, clustering).
• Design, build, and maintain back-end APIs/services in Python and C#/.NET.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices.
