Job summary

CTG is seeking a Data Engineer in San Antonio, TX to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and warehousing solutions. You will optimize transformations with Snowflake and dbt, integrate data across platforms, and manage scheduling with Control-M.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Snowflake, dbt, DataStage, and Control-M experience, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and a collaborative mindset to partner with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data integration solutions.

• Develop and maintain automated job scheduling and workflows using Control-M.

• Ensure data quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance across enterprise data systems.

• Troubleshoot data processing issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to support data and analytics requirements.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Snowflake and dbt for data warehousing and transformation.

• Experience with IBM DataStage for ETL development and data integration.

• Knowledge of Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation.

• Strong SQL, data modeling, and data integration skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

Experience

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data engineering solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, DataStage, and Control-M.

• Background integrating data across platforms and optimizing large-scale data processing systems.

• Must successfully complete a background check (BGC).

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
