Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Engineer with strong experience in building, automating, and scaling modern data platforms on Azure and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, and modern CI/CD practices, with a focus on enabling observability, governance, and automation across data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake-based data platforms using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Automate provisioning of Snowflake resources (warehouses, roles, schemas, RBAC) across development, staging, and production environments.
• Develop Python-based automation for user onboarding, access control, audit logging, and usage monitoring.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps for deploying data infrastructure and code.
• Integrate Azure-native services such as Data Factory, Key Vault, Functions, and Monitor into the data platform architecture.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement masking policies, role-based access, and secure data handling practices.
• Enable hybrid ML workloads by supporting external tables and Databricks integration.
• Design and monitor operational dashboards using Azure Monitor and custom Python scripts.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering roles.
• Deep expertise with Snowflake, Databricks Azure (Storage, ADF, Key Vault, Functions), and Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of data governance, RBAC, secret management, and platform observability.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Engineering, and Security
