Job summary

Greycell Labs Inc. is seeking an On-Site Data Engineer in Albany, NY for a 12-month engagement. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in data analytics, Python projects, ETL pipelines, and working with large relational and NoSQL databases.

The role requires building cloud-native or hybrid applications using serverless platforms and delivering robust data visualizations for large datasets. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent.
• 6 years experience with development in medium to large-scale technical projects and ensuring deliverables and scope are met.
• 6 years experience with data analytics including processing, reporting, transformation, visualization.
• 6 years experience with Python based data analytics projects.
• 6 years experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB) with large data.
• 6 years experience with developing and maintaining data processing and ETL pipelines.
• 6 years experience with cloud native and hybrid applications using serverless platforms.
• 6 years experience in designing and implementing data visualizations with large datasets (1M+ records) on analytics platforms such as Tableau

Job Description

• This position requires at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Proposal Response.
• 6 years experience with development in medium to large-scale technical projects and assuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented
• 6 years experience with data analytics including processing, reporting, transformation, visualization.
• 6 years experience with Python based data analytics projects
• 6 years experience with relational and NoSQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc) containing large amounts of data (greater than 10 million rows
• 6 years experience with developing and maintaining data processing and ETL pipelines
• 6 years experience with developing cloud native and hybrid applications using serverless platforms.
• 6 years experience in designing and implementing data visualizations with large datasets (1 million+ records) on analytics platforms such as Tableau
