Job summary

TerraFirma is seeking a data-focused professional who will own data quality end-to-end, from sourcing to reporting. You will clean and transform data, collaborate with a Full Stack Developer on pipelines, and work with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights.

You will build and maintain Power BI reports, translate business questions into data models, and contribute to TerraFirma's data lake architecture while documenting lineage and standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a data-focused role with ownership of data quality and reporting.
• Able to turn messy, inconsistent source data into clean, trustworthy data.
• Strong SQL: joins, window functions, performance tuning.
• Power BI proficiency with reports used to drive decisions.
• Python for scripting, transformation, automation.
• Clear communicator who can discuss data discrepancies with non-technical stakeholders.
• Azure Data Factory, data lake, and lake tooling experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON data sources.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues across connected systems.
• Ingest data into the data lake from multiple source systems and maintain pipelines.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards used by leaders.
• Document data sources, schemas, transformation logic, and lineage.
