Job summary

Bloom Healthcare in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain robust data pipelines powering our analytics. You will own end-to-end data infrastructure, from orchestration to modeling, delivering clean, reliable datasets for reporting.

You will work with Python and SQL, implement dbt models, and integrate internal and external systems. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, a focus on data quality, and hands-on development of scalable AI-ready data solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred for higher complexity work.
• 3+ years building scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; API experience a plus.
• Experience with orchestration tools and dbt modeling.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure end-to-end.
• Orchestrate workflows in Airflow, ensuring reliability and monitoring.
• Design integrations between internal systems and external services.
• Build and maintain dbt models and semantic layer for trusted data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
• Document data models, pipelines, and integrations for maintainability.
