Job summary
Digital Technology Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering Team in Okemos/Farmington Hills, MI. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data engineering, with strong ETL and data pipeline experience, including CDC and cloud migrations.
You will work on ETL workflows, EDW maintenance, and data-mart loading using Informatica CDI-PC and PL/SQL, while collaborating with teams across the organization. On-call rotation is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of data engineering experience.
- Experience in ETL development and data pipeline construction.
- Experience with CDC and moving data from on-prem to cloud destinations.
Responsibilities
- Participates in analysis and development of technical specifications, programming and testing of Data Engineering components.
- Creates data pipelines and ETL workflows following team standards.
- Follows architecture and design best practices under leads and architects.
- Manages ETL workflows using Informatica CDI-PC (PowerCenter) to populate on-prem EDW and flat file extracts.
- Develops PL/SQL based solutions to populate data-marts for enterprise reporting.
- Configures automation for data pipelines, including stored procedures and scripting.
- Enables data flow from on-prem sources to cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and SaaS apps (e.g., Salesforce).
- Follows change control and configuration management; participates in 24-hour on-call rotation.
