KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Data Engineer Mid to join its data engineering team on an approximately 12-month contract based in Irving, TX. The role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite per week, and focuses on designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing data infrastructure and pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have very strong SQL skills, experience building and debugging data pipelines, and hands-on experience with Databricks and end-to-end ETL development.

Job Summary

Our client, a leading enterprise organization, is seeking a Data Engineer Mid to join its data engineering team. This is an approximately 12-month contract opportunity focused on designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing data infrastructure and pipelines. The Data Engineer will work on collecting, managing, and transforming raw data into usable formats for analysis and other data consumers. The ideal candidate will have very strong SQL skills, experience building, debugging, and improving data pipelines, and preferably hands-on experience with Databricks and end-to-end ETL development.

Contract Details

• Contract type and duration: Contract, approximately 12 months (11/2/2026 – 11/2/2027)
• Work location: Irving, TX
• Work arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Core Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize data infrastructure and pipelines
• Collect, manage, and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis and other data consumers
• Build and develop data pipelines to support data processing requirements
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing data pipelines
• Support end-to-end ETL development and data transformation processes
• Work with Databricks for data pipeline development and ETL activities, preferably

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: The approximate pay rate for this position is between $38.50 and $55.00per hour. Please note that the pay rate provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums
