Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Data Engineer Mid to join its data engineering team on an approximately 12-month contract based in Irving, TX. The role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite per week, and focuses on designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing data infrastructure and pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have very strong SQL skills, experience building and debugging data pipelines, and hands-on experience with Databricks and end-to-end ETL development.

Qualifications

• Very strong hands-on SQL skills.
• Experience building data pipelines.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting data pipelines.
• Experience improving and optimizing existing data pipelines.
• Understanding of data engineering and data transformation processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Collect, manage, and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis and other data consumers.
• Build and develop data pipelines to support data processing requirements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing data pipelines.
• Support end-to-end ETL development and data transformation processes.
• Work with Databricks for data pipeline development and ETL activities, preferably.
