Job summary

The Hartford is offering a Tech & Data Program Summer 2027 – Data Engineer Intern in Columbus, OH. This hybrid internship provides hands‑on experience building data pipelines, working with cloud platforms, and supporting analytics and AI initiatives within the insurance industry.

You will gain exposure to ETL/ELT, data transformation, data quality, and modern data engineering practices using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and GitHub.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance through profiling, validation, and monitoring activities.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions that address business needs.
Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance productivity and support the development of data solutions that power advanced analytics and machine learning.
