PACCAR in Denton, Texas is seeking a Summer Data Engineer Intern to support Advanced Analytics initiatives, design and implement reporting features, and help build scalable data pipelines using AWS, Airflow, and BI tools.

You will collaborate with product owners, data analysts, and business partners in an Agile environment, develop AI-enabled data processing solutions, and contribute to data quality and architecture while gaining real-world experience at a global technology leader.

Competenze

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, informatics, or a related program.
Strong SQL and Python for data manipulation, query writing, and scripting.
Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Understanding of Generative AI models and their business applications.

Mansioni

Design and implement reporting and analytics features in collaboration with product owners, data analysts, and business partners.
Design and implement AI vision solutions for image-based data processing and analytics.
Build scalable, automated data pipelines using AWS and Qlik Replicate.
Orchestrate job sequences with Apache Airflow and other schedulers.
Contribute to architecture, framework, and design patterns for high-volume data processing.
